PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Collider presents an immersive blend of virtual and theatrical elements, delving into the dynamics of power and dependency. Crafted by Anagram, this unique experience invites participants to step into a machine designed to unravel the intricacies of human connections. Operating akin to the Large Hadron Collider, it doesn't collide atoms but rather people.
Its purpose is to uncover the intangible substance that flows between individuals—drawing them closer or driving them apart. Guiding two individuals through a transformative journey, it orchestrates a captivating choreography within its mechanical confines.
Each participant embarks on their journey independently before converging paths. One dons a headset, immersing themselves in the machine's inner workings revealed through a virtual landscape. The other wields the controllers (and takes control), manipulating the visions and interactions within this virtual realm.
The experience culminates in a small chamber furnished with armchairs, where both participants reconvene to reflect on their shared experience and its implications.
In my role as an interactive designer and developer collaborating with Anagram, I contributed to the realization of this project.  In addition, I oversaw its technical installation and setup at various festivals and events.
